Mike Prudencio

MikeJiu-Jitsu Instructor.

Mike was awarded his black belt in 2007 by Dave Camarillo. He has been teaching at One World Self Defense and Fitness since 2006. He has competed and trained in Brazil and has close to 20 years of martial arts experience, including wrestling and boxing. He is also a certified CrossFit instructor.

Atsushi Yoshinaga

Atsushi Yoshinaga Judo Instructor.

Atsushi started Judo training at age 7 in Chicago and has been competing for 17 years. Between the ages 10 and 16 he travelled roughly every year to stay and train at the Kodokan as well as the top police dojo in Tokyo.

In 1999-2000 he won several junior national tournaments and earned a spot on the Junior World Traveling team, competing in international tournaments in Poland and Hungary.  Eventually competing in the junior world championships in Tunisia. He placed second in the High School Nationals when he was a sophomore and then won when he was a senior.

In 2004 and 2005 he trained for about 5 weeks each year at Tenri University, one of the top five judo universities in Japan. In his first five years of college, he won 2 collegiate national tournaments and placed second in one. In 2005 he came out to California from Chicago to train and study at San Jose State University. 

Since then, he has either won or placed in the top three at dozens of E and D-level tournaments, and placed third at the Nationals in 2007. In 2007, he traveled with the under 23 elite team to compete in the German Open and train at the camp after.  There were several World and European champions that attended the tournament and camp with whom he was able to train with. In 2008, he qualified to compete at the U.S. Olympic Judo Trials, where he lost to the number one seed, who eventually went on to become the alternate in his division. He has dabbled in BJJ for roughly two years, training on and off at AKA under Dave Camarillo.

Mike Imperial

Mike Imperial Kickboxing Instructor.

Michael "Mikee" Imperial is from Santa Cruz CA and has been training and teaching kickboxing for over 17 years. He considers himself an "American-Style" Kickboxer and has worked with many different striking disciplines. Mikee spent 4yrs in the United States Marine Corps and is currently a Blue Belt in BJJ under Mike Prudencio. Mikee has been training and teaching at One World Martial Arts for the past 2yrs and is appreciative of the time he has been able to do so.

Louis Hung

The Edge

Judo/Jiu-Jitsu Conditioning Trainer. Assistant Judo Instructor.

Louis Hung hails from parts unknown.

What is known is that he has trained wholeheartedly and relentlessly in Judo since 1998, when he was named team captain of Pearl City High School's state championship team after only one year of intense training and competition under the combined tutilage of Tsuruo Fukushima and Roy Kawaji.

He has been sighted living and training at the Olympic Training Center for Judo at SJSU under head coach Yoshihiro Uchida and his seasoned staff of national, international, and world champs since 2002.

There also been confirmed sightings of Louis overseas, where he has been known to train seasonally at Ryutsu Keizai University under the illustrious Isao Okano, veteran champion of Judo’s inaugural appearance in the Olympic Games.

Correlated accounts also exist of Louis practicing Olympic Weightlifting, Folk Wrestling, Lau Ga Kung Fu, Hung Gar Lion Dance, and various forms of submission grappling as early as 1996!
