Mike: 'So you guys wanna roll - hard? For like 7 rounds, 5 minutes each'
Tom: thinking - 'say NO, say NO, say No'
Mike looks around surveying the blue belts on the mat
Tom: thinking - 'nobody is saying no...WTF?'
Mike: 'Ok guys, now's your chance, but dont start if you dont plan on finishing'
Tom: thinking - 'this is gonna be bad'
Mike: 'Ok, partner up - 10 pushups each time you get tapped'
-35 minutes later-
Tom begins weeping softly as to not let his teammates see the single tear running down his face.
11:30 comes - too pumped to sleep
2:30 comes - too sore to sleep
9am comes - yeah boss, im gonna be a little late

LOL. You forgot to include that it was an extra 35 minutes... that started after class at 8:30pm. Everyone I rolled with had about a 20 lb. advantage. I was on pure survival mode... on the bright side... no pushups. Good times.

"The great aim of the jiu-jitsu spirit dwells in its pure and firm character. It cannot be reached through academic theory alone, but by studying the way and the core through constant selfless training, whether in the sweltering summer or freezing winter. Training is achieved only with a spirit of hard work, perseverance, and modesty."
